Your information
Credit Card Roadmap Privacy Policy
Last updated:
This policy explains how Credit Card Roadmap handles personal information when you visit our website, use our app, contact us, or purchase and participate in a personalized consultation.
1. Information we collect
- Contact and account information: your name, email address, sign-in information, messages, and communication preferences.
- Onboarding and consultation information: your goals, current cards, spending, application history, eligibility considerations, and details you choose to share. Our introductory form asks whether you meet credit-score and payment guidelines, rather than requesting an exact score or balance.
- App information: card and rewards details you enter, dates, benefit usage, and notification and advisor-sharing preferences.
- Booking and purchase information: appointment details, contact information, and payment or transaction records associated with your purchase. Stripe processes payment details through its checkout.
- Website activity: referral pages, campaign parameters, form and booking interactions, and technical information such as browser, device, and IP address that our hosting and analytics services may process.
Do not send us full credit card numbers, bank passwords, Social Security numbers, or other unnecessary sensitive account credentials. Credit Card Roadmap does not request or require them. Enter payment details only in Stripe's checkout.
2. How we use information
We use information to process purchases, schedule and personalize consultations, provide app access, respond to questions, deliver requested resources, and send service communications and enabled reminders. We also use it to understand website interactions, maintain security, troubleshoot problems, and meet applicable legal obligations.
3. Service providers and sharing
We use service providers to operate the service. These include Vercel for hosting, Supabase for accounts and data storage, Stripe for payments, Calendly for booking when enabled, and Resend for email delivery when configured. Information needed for these functions is processed by the relevant providers.
Our website also supports Google Tag Manager and analytics tags to measure website and booking interactions. Third-party services handle information under their own privacy policies as well as the arrangements applicable to our use of those services.
If you enable advisor sharing in the app, authorized Credit Card Roadmap advisors can view the card information covered by that setting. You can turn sharing off in the app to end that access.
We may disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect the security and rights of our customers or service.
4. Cookies, browser storage, and analytics
The app uses cookies or browser storage to maintain sign-in sessions. The marketing site also uses local storage to remember which introductory message you were shown. Analytics and embedded booking services may use their own cookies or similar technologies.
You can manage cookies and clear stored data through your browser settings. Blocking storage may affect sign-in or booking features. You can also use browser tools to limit analytics tracking.
5. Retention and security
We retain information as needed to provide the service, maintain records, resolve issues, and satisfy applicable legal obligations. Retention depends on the type of information and why it is held. Contact us to ask about retention or request deletion.
We use access controls and authentication to help protect personal information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. Service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live.
6. Your choices and requests
You can update app information, manage notification preferences, and change advisor sharing in the app. You can contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information, or to ask us to stop optional communications.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights. We will handle requests in accordance with applicable law and may need to verify your identity. Some records may need to be retained for legal obligations or to resolve disputes.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our service or information practices change. Updates will appear on this page with a revised last updated date. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent.
